The three NSSDCA pages disagree on the date and the disagreement is recorded rather than resolved: both the Chronology of Lunar and Planetary Exploration and the Chronology of Venus Exploration print Venera 1965A - 23 November 1965 - Attempted Venus Flyby (Launch Failure).
