NASA's Psyche mission launched on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy from Kennedy Space Center on 13 October 2023 to study the metal-rich asteroid Psyche in the main asteroid belt. Its cruise included a Mars gravity assist on 15 May 2026, and NASA says it will arrive at Psyche in August 2029.
